optcomp software package provides syntax extension for optional compilation with cpp-like directives (tools), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install optcomp
optcomp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the optcomp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep optcomp *
You will get with optcomp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
